“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

These words by Maya Angelou resonate with my experience here at The Good People Fund. As we help our donors find just the right match for their tzedakah and, in turn, work to get our grantees the support that they need for their incredible good work, it is those same feelings, that same euphoria that prevails. I am reminded every day that small actions make huge impacts.

By supporting very effective small organizations, run by Good People (many on a volunteer basis) that operate with very low overhead, we know that every dollar we receive has impact. Within our own organization, salaries are covered by targeted private donations, thus insuring that we ourselves operate efficiently and with minimal overhead.
