Good People Travel

Join Our Journey of Good

You’ve read about our Good People, come meet them in person on our first-ever Good People Fund trip to Israel!

November 1-8, 2026

Join Naomi and Julie as The Good People Fund takes a unique journey to Israel. This experience will offer a powerful opportunity to witness the impact of your tzedakah and to be part of a community committed to doing good in the world.

You will meet some of our extraordinary and inspiring Good People who work quietly strengthening communities, building bridges, restoring dignity, and responding to urgent needs with compassion and courage, with every detail thoughtfully planned to allow you to learn, connect, and experience Israel through the lens of our social visionaries.

Meet Inspiring Changemakers
Spend time with Good People Fund grantees addressing pressing challenges, from social inclusion and education to coexistence and community care.

Go Behind the Scenes
Visit projects and sites rarely seen by visitors and engage in thoughtful, honest conversations with social visionaries doing courageous work on the ground.

✨

Learn & Reflect Together
Through guided conversations and shared reflection, we’ll explore what it means to live our Jewish values in complex times.

✨

Build Community
Travel alongside a small group of like-minded partners who believe deeply in relationship-driven tzedakah and meaningful engagement.
Cost:
$5,000 per person, double-occupancy. Single supplement: additional $1,000
Includes:
Program costs, lodging at a Tel Aviv hotel on the beach, at least 2 meals a day, site visits, in-country transportation, curated experiences with Good People Fund grantees and partners, and touring sites such as Peres Center for Peace and the new much-in-demand National Library. Family members who are 16 or older are welcome to join. Airfare not included.

Limited spots available.

To reserve a spot, please complete the registration form below. Your request will be reviewed and a payment link for the non-refundable $500 deposit will be sent within 2 business days. A separate registration is required for each participant.

Arrival Day — Tel Aviv

Participants arrive and check in to the hotel in Tel Aviv

Day 2
Monday, November 2

Tel Aviv: Good People in Action

Morning
Visit GPF alum Turning the Tables (Yotsrot) with founder Lilach Tzur Ben Moshe

Mid-Day
Group lunch at a Bukharan restaurant with grantee speakers such as Gideon Ben Ami of Pesia’s Kitchen

Afternoon
Visit or volunteer with Tel Aviv-based grantees

Evening
Dinner at Sarona Market

Post-Dinner
Tea, cookies, learning, and conversation at hotel to prepare for tomorrow’s day-long excursion

Day 3
Tuesday, November 3

Negev Shared Society Day — Southbound

Morning | Rahat
Visit grantee New Dawn in the Negev with founder Jamal Alkirnawi
Potential activity with students

Midday | Lakiya
Visit grantee Sidreh at their weaving center
Learn about the weaving initiative supporting economic independence for Bedouin women
Lunch with the Sidreh community

Afternoon | Be’er Sheva
Meet leaders of alum grantee Al-Baqour
Visit a mother/child tipat chalav center/learning center/library

Evening
Dinner at Yassou Restaurant

Day 4
Wednesday, November 4

Jerusalem: Dignity, Heritage, and Empowerment

Morning | Kaima Beit Zayit with Yoni Yefet Reich
Engage with youth-run organic farm promoting empowerment, responsibility, and renewed purpose

Mid-Day | Jerusalem Food Rescuers
Community meal and market tour; potential jam-making workshop
Learning about food justice and sustainability

Afternoon | National Library of Israel
Guided visit highlighting the cultural treasures and architecture of Israel’s national library

Evening
Return to Tel Aviv for dinner

Day 5
Thursday, November 5

Northern Israel: Agriculture, Youth, and Community

Morning | En Route North
Visit grantee Rutie Pilz-Burstein of Sports – Bridge to Education or another grantee located along the route

Late Morning to Early Afternoon | Kaima Nahalal
Tour with grantee Merav Carmi and the youth of the farm
Visit their beautiful upgrades made possibly by GPF
Lunch hosted by the Kaima team

Afternoon | Terra Uma
Visit this unique GPF grantee using the art of winemaking to support healing and resilience for people with PTSD
Wine tasting

Evening
Return to Tel Aviv for dinner

Day 6
Friday, November 6

Jaffa, Peacebuilding, Rest, and Shabbat Together

Morning | Volunteering with Pesia’s Kitchen
Hands-on food packing with grantees Gideon Ben-Ami and Yoni Ben-Ami at a local school in Jaffa

Mid-Day | Peres Center for Peace and Innovation
Tour the beautiful center in Jaffa
Learn about peacebuilding, shared society, and innovation

Afternoon | Free Time or Grantee Visit/Volunteering
Rest, enjoy Tel Aviv, visit friends or relatives, or explore the beach or neighborhoods

Evening | Kabbalat Shabbat & Shabbat Dinner
Group Kabbalat Shabbat and a beautiful Shabbat dinner at the hotel with grantee guests

Day 7
Saturday, November 7

Shabbat: Rest, Renewal, and Closing Celebration

Daytime
A day to rest, reflect, and explore at your own pace
Participants may relax, enjoy the beach, take a walking tour, visit friends and relatives, or explore the city

Optional Activities
Study/learning session during the afternoon
Optional group walking tour

Saturday Night | Closing Dinner & Reflections
A celebratory closing dinner in Tel Aviv with reflections on the week, participation from select grantees, and facilitated closing activities

Sunday, November 8

Departure Day

Morning
Final breakfast at the hotel
Saying goodbye

Depart on flights starting midday Sunday, November 8
