Administrator (Part-Time, Remote)

The Good People Fund

The Good People Fund supports social visionaries changing lives and repairing the world. This role is a meaningful way to help put more good into action. We are seeking a detail-oriented, versatile Administrator to provide essential support to our small and impactful professional team. This is a part-time, hourly role starting at 20 hours per week with the potential for additional hours and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across all aspects of the Good People Fund’s programs and operations

  • Assist with project coordination and manage special projects

  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, and meetings

  • Prepare, edit, and format documents using Microsoft Word and Google Docs

  • Manage spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

  • Support data management and recordkeeping (CRM knowledge a plus; willingness to learn required)

  • Assist with communications

  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

  • Strong technology skills and ability to learn new tools quickly

  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs/Sheets, and Zoom

  • Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented

  • Located in NJ, NY, Baltimore or Washington, DC area (remote work with some in-person meetings each year; travel reimbursed)

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (or eagerness to learn) preferred

  • Experience with project management tools a plus

Schedule & Flexibility

  • Approximately 20 hours/week to start, with potential for growth

  • Flexible hours, except for set times needed for staff meetings

  • Occasional evening or Sunday programming

Compensation

  • $30-35/hour
