Our Journey of Good kicked off today in Tel Aviv with excitement, gratitude, and a wonderful sense of community!
We began with a moving Shehecheyanu blessing led by Rabbi Neal Gold, greetings from Julie Fisher and Naomi Eisenberger, and fun get to know you activities led by Beth Gansky.
Board members Jody Harburger, Larry Paul, Neal Gold, Beth Gansky, and Mark Nelson introduced the five core values that guide the Good People Fund and our work: The Power of Good People, Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Kindness, Trust, and Community.
And what better way to begin our journey than with an inspiring story from Avraham Hayon, cofounder and CEO of SAHI (Special Hesed Unit), an extraordinary organization that empowers young people facing challenging circumstances to become leaders of kindness by helping others in need. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room!
It was a beautiful reminder of why we’re here: to celebrate 18 years of good, connect with extraordinary social visionaries, and witness firsthand the power of kindness to transform lives and communities.
And this is only the beginning! 💙
