    A Well-Deserved Spotlight: Collective Lavo B’Tov

    June 14, 2026

The work of Good People Fund grantee Collective Lavo B’Tov is often so under the radar that it was especially exciting to see this beautiful feature by co-founder Rachel Kolette Wheeler about the organization’s remarkable work with co-founder Shoshi Margolin, published in The Jewish Press of Omaha, where Rachel lives.

Shoshi lives in Israel, and Rachel travels there regularly. Together they do extraordinary work empowering people with disabilities of all kinds to pursue their goals, often mentoring them to achieve dreams they, or their family members, once believed were unattainable.

We are proud to see their quiet but powerful impact receiving this well-deserved spotlight. Link to the article is below.

    Honoring Grantee’s Innovation and Impact

    June 14, 2026

Last week Good People Fund grantee Daniella Seltzer, co-founder of JLM Food Rescuers, was honored by Elluminate in New York as one of their ten visionary women selected for this year’s cohort, an exciting and well-deserved recognition of her leadership and impact.

Through JLM Food Rescuers, Daniella and her team recover surplus food that would otherwise go to waste and redirect it to individuals and families who need it most, while also mobilizing volunteers and strengthening communities in Jerusalem. Their work addresses hunger and waste through a lens of dignity and community.

While in the United States, Daniella added on a few gatherings, including one in Baltimore and one in the Washington, DC, area, which became a wonderful excuse for a Good People Fund reunion.

    A Milestone Worth Celebrating

    June 14, 2026

At the Good People Fund, our emerging social visionaries are leading programs that are often taking important first steps forward in their organizational development, including producing their first annual reports, valuable milestones as they prepare to build and strengthen relationships with larger funders who require a higher level of impact reporting. Elevate+, founded by Andrew Walker, and Abrahamic House, founded by Mohammed Al Samawi, each created their first annual reports this year, bringing their impact into sharper focus for current and prospective funders. We are proud of them and excited for what lies ahead.
